Stray Notice
State of Missouri, county of Montgomery
A stray horse taken up by Joseph COUNTS of Loutre township, and posted before Silvester BAKER, a justice of the peace of the state and county aforesaid, and we find the said stray to be a pale chestnut sorrel horse, .....
appraised to twenty-five dollars, by us this 27th day of June, 1831. Joseph M'FARLAND, Aaron GROOM. Silvester BAKER, j. p.
I Jacob L. SHARP, clerk of the county court in and for the county aforesaid, certify the foregoing post note to be truly recorded in my office.
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and private seal (my seal of office being yet provided) at Lewiston, the 11th day of July, 1831.
