Jean, I seen your message posted the same day as mine 1/31/01. There is so many similaries, could it be we're looking for one in the same? I think I found Netties death record yesterday,05/09/56 or 09/05/56 at age 85. From what my husband knows of his grandparents, & what's in funeral records of Jerrys dad, Lee Bailey,George was married to Nettie Bennett. George passed away {again from records on net I found yesterday,I think it's the George we're looking for county and state is right}11/10/1945 or 10/11/45 at age 75. He had already passed away when my husband Jerry was born, but remembers going to Netties as a child. She remarried a man named Henry Morris and after Nettie passed, Henry remarried {this wifes name is not remembered by my husband} and Jerry remembers himself, his dad , mother and rest of Jerrys bros. and sisters still going to visit Henry. Jerrys dad, Lee was 60 yrs. old when Jerry was born. The only siblings of Lees that Jerry knows of is a sister Mae Sheriff around 92yrs old and a half sister Bessie Tucker {Tucker being married name} who's passed away. Could these be of the same family??? thanks judy
