Looking for information on Henry Valmont Babin. He married Florestin Trahan abt. 1830. They adpoted Melvina, d/b abt. 1848, believe in East Baton Rouge, or Ascension Parish, LA. Melvina married John Robert Tresvant Haynes 1860 in East Baton Rouge. Would like very much to find information on H.V. Babin and who Melvina's birth family was.
