I have a Soloman Babcock born 2 September 1776 in Westerly, Washington, Rhode Island and died 13 February 1867 in Homer, Cortland, NY. He was married to Amy Morgan (1803). Two children, Morgan and Chauncey...His father was Peleg (1748-1834) and his mother was Ruth Maxson (1747-1775). Does this help in any way?
