MY husband's grandfather was a William H. Babcock from Cornwall New York married to Katherine Martin Smith in 1912....children were Grace Eleanor, Anna and Marion Babcock all from Cornwall, NY....His father was Charles Henry Babcock and his mother was Sarah Catherine Henion.....Do you see any connection? He had 12 siblings all living in and around Orange County, New York. He and his wife are buried in St. Thomas Cemetery, Cornwall, New York.
