I started with an old picture with "Uncle Elias Babb" written on it. I obtained some information via internet on Elias b 27 Feb 1817 Ohio d Pleasanton, Ks 15 Sep 1898. He was a twin. Both brothers married women named Mary and both died within 12 days of each other. The information was taken from what I refer to as the "Franklin/Conrey" album. The pix was taken in BlueMound, Kansas. Does this connect with any of your information? Louise

Tiffany, I am trying to find a likely candidate but that is not much to go on. It will likely require that she try and obtain an uncertified birth certificate and if possible perhaps a copy of her pre adoption certificate. Christine Harris

I believe there is probably a connection to the Baab if the family is of German descent. I have a lot of the family in OH but only starting in 1835. Christine

Hi Christine, Almost all I know about Elias is in my original message. I do not know if he was of German decent. He was referred to as "Uncle" on the picture. He may have married a Conrey, Franklin, Lane, Carpenter, or perhaps Broadwell, Jackson. If any of these names are connected with your Babb I would like to hear more. Thanks for responding. Louise
