CLARK, Margaret Azar, 85, a resident of Montgomery, died peacefully Monday, February 19, 2007 at Jackson Hospital surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 23, 2007 at 10:00 AM at St. Bede Catholic Church with her grandson, Father Den Irwin presiding. Burial will follow in St. Margaret's Cemetery. Mrs. Clark is preceded in death by her parents Zachi N. Azar and Mary Farshee Azar, grandson Rob Trussell, sisters Catherine Reickenback and Emma McElvy and brother Zack Azar, Jr. She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years Edward P. Clark "Ed", children Deanie Clark Allen (Ray), Lynne Clark Irwin (Mike), Edward P. Clark, Jr., Maureen Clark Trussell, Jeffrey Stephen Clark (Jill), Kathryn Annette Clark, David Michael Clark (Joyce) and Cynthia Clark Harrison (Lee), grandchildren Paul Allen (Teresa), Yvonne McGinty (Charlie), Maria Justice (Jason), Clark Allen (Kerry), Laura Allen, Father Den Irwin, Allison Rumore (Charles), Josh Clark, Jake Clark, Jessica Clark, Michael Clark and Mark Edward Clark, great grandchildren Paul Jr, Mary Ashley, Matthew, Margaret Ann and Jack Allen, Anna Kate, Allen, Connor and Joseph McGinty, Sophia and Mary Alice Justice and Charles Anthony, Dominic, Mary Margaret, Andrew and Thomas Rumore, brothers and sisters Edward Azar (Gloria), Dodie Pappanastos, Helen Boman, George Azar (Celeste), Tommy Azar (Ruth), Dottie Dean, Jimmy Azar (Linda) and Mary Catherine Farshee, sister-in-law Gleaves Azar and many loving nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Paul Allen, Clark Allen, Paul Allen, Jr, Josh Clark, Jake Clark, Michael Clark, and Mark Edward Clark. Mrs. Clark was a lifetime member of St. Bede Catholic Church where she sang in the choir. She was a Wedding Consultant for over 40 years and was very active in her Garden Club and Tuesday Bridge Club. Mrs. Clark was honored for her work in the Catholic Church by Pope John Paul II and was awarded the Papal Medal, Pro Ecclesia Et Pontifice. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to C.O.P.E. 2158 Madison Ave., Montgomery, AL 36107.
