They came from Monterrey, Mexico in the early 1870's. These Ayalas worked for The Schreiner Family of Kerrville, Texas. Other family members were: Luis, Juanita Villanueva, Felipe, Juan, Miguel, Ignacio and Pablo.
If you are relatived to any of these Ayalas please contact me asap.

Ayala's from Kerr County, TX
We are decendants of Simon Ayala; Sylvestre (his son); Rudolpho (Sylvestre's son); Martin (Rudy's son; then me(Martin's daughter). Who was you're ggGrandfather?

My grandfather name was Manuel Ayala and we think his mother's name was Espiridona or something like that. He was killed in 1935 an was buried in the Berg's Mill cemetary near mission San Juan Capistrano on San Antonio's southside. He had a brother named Theodoro but that's all I know, he was 49 yrs old at the time of his death so that makes his birthdate about 1886.Please reply if any of this info sounds like he might be family.

Re: The Ayala Family of Kerr County, Texas.
Robert, I wanted to ask you about one of your Ayalas from Kerrville. Is Maximo one of your great or great-great uncles? What was his given name as it would be written in Mexico? Your name would be Robert Sanchez (Your mother's maiden name). Was his name Maximiliano? Who did he marry?.
I will e-mail you directly since it's been a while that you have posted. Patti

Re: The Ayala Family of Kerr County, Texas.
I am the GGG Granddaughter of Jesus Ayala. His son, Domingo moved to Brownsville, Texas and married Maria Champion from one of the early pioneer families in the Rio Grande Valley. I've made a connection with Bobby Ayala, a distant primo of mine. I believe his line stems from Miguel.
