I believe we are related, however would have to check with our family "archivist and historian". Tell me more about your relations to the Awana's. My grandfather was Benedict Ernest Christy Awana, and my father is Robert Lanakila Awana, Sr. I am the Jr.

I am not the genealogist of the family, I am though one of the many g-g great grandchildren of Ting Sing Hoke and Kahula.
My great great grandfather was Charles Joseph Hoke father of my great grandad Stephen Delrain Hoke. My late grandmother was Katherine Hoke Kuwasaki. I am the daughter of Leroy T. Kuwasaki Jr and Susan.
I am sure though my relation to you is through Catherine Kinoua Katarina daughter to Ting Sing and Kahula. Catherine Kinoua Katarina married Wing Wong Awana. I believe you are related.
Our surnames of the family are Hoke, Awana, Ano, etc...
Please feel free to contact me and let those of your family know that I have started a family site if interested.
