(If anyone can confirm or unconfirm anything here, I wish you would let me know. This area has been hard for me to trace, & some of it may well be wrong.)
I am labeling the person in my husband's ancestry with a number starting at 1 for Ludwig. Much of the info should be credited to Carlos Speck, David Hubbard, Carol Holt, and / or Dana Speck. Errors are doubtless mine.

I do have a little more info on spouses & places, if interested.

1. Ludwig Awalt (b abt 1700, Wurtemburg, Bavaria, Germany) + Agnes ____
Their child:
2. Johannes Awalt (b abt 1722 Wurtemburg, Bavaria, Germany) + ?
They must have emigrated to the New World, as their son Michael was born here.
Their children:
Jacob

Their children, all Awalt:

Their children, all Awalt:

George (23 Dec 1812 - 27 Dec1882) + (1) Rebecca Bradshaw; (2) Margaret E. Ross

Yup, that's them all right. They are in the middle of the post you replied to. I have a note that a Barbara Berger is said to have married both David the immigrant and also David the son; the dates given match the son, so I have left David the immigrant's wife as just Barbara (--?--).

I have a lot of my trees at childsfamily.com; find the genealogy section (or admire my grandchildren, if you'd rather :) ). I am in the middle of a fairly major update, which won't be posted at that site for a while, but I don't think I'm making any particular changes to the Awalts & Specks.

If you don't mind - could you tell me your sources? (Mine are shown on the online tree.)

Most of my sources are scattered in a pile under the computer. A lot of infor came from Ancestry.com Family Trees, postings, e-mails, and family. Sorry nothing specific at this time.
Thanks, I'll check out the website. Have you ever heard the rumor that Eveline was 1/2 Cherokee??????
