Dennis moved to TX from LA. His parents, Matthew Averett, Jr. and Sarah Louise McClendon moved to LA from AL.

In the 1910 Census, Dennis had a son Robert, 35, b.LA; a daughter Myrtle 20, b. TX and a daughter Olive 17 b. TX. Any information will be appreciated.
