Hello,

I was wondering if anyone here is related to Howard Earl Averill, a baseball player from the 30s and 40s who is now in the Hall of Fame. He also has a son who was a baseball player. I know that my family is related to him but only my grandfather, John William Averill (Milwaukee, WI) knew of how we were related and he died in 1978, before I was born. He had told my father how we were related but it was so long ago that my dad can't remember. Thanks for any help.
