      <description>Frederick N. Aukeman  &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;AUKEMAN, Frederick N. 82, of South Vienna, Ohio passed away on Sunday, August 7, 2011 in his home. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;He was born on September 13, 1928 in Springfield, Ohio the son of Mark and Ruth (Johnson) Aukeman.&lt;br&gt; He graduated from Plattsburg High School, class of 1946, and went on to receive his degree at The Ohio State University and over time completing his graduate work in Geology. &lt;br&gt;He and his wife Juanita lived in Illinois, Maryland, and Missouri before returning to Ohio in 1994. Fred worked at Hollandia Gardens on the National Road in South Vienna and was the former President of the Hollandia Botanical Gardens. &lt;br&gt;He was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and served the church as Property Chairman. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;He is survived by his wife of sixty-five years, Juanita (Stewart) Aukeman of South Vienna, three daughters and sons-in-law: Christina and Paul Pryor of Columbus, Ohio, Karen Colvin of Powell, Ohio, and Dottie and Ken Haydis of Manhattan Beach, California; five grandchildren: Andrew (Cheryl), Rachel (Lane), Alison, Matthew, and Lindsey; four great grandchildren: Sarah, Lydia, Kaitlyn, and Patrick; former son-in-law, Arnold Gozora, and several nieces and nephews. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Alicia Gozora in 1993, two grandchildren: Patrick and Julia; and three brothers: Paul, Roger, and George. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, August 11, 2011 from 5-8 p.m. in the LITTLETON &amp;amp; RUE FUNERAL HOME. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;A celebration of his life will be held on Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 712 N. Fountain Blvd., Springfield, OH. &lt;br&gt;Burial will be in South Vienna Cemetery.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt; Memorial contributions may be made to the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church or the Wilson's Disease Association, &lt;a href="http://www.wilsonsdisease.org" target="_blank"&gt;www.wilsonsdisease.org&lt;/a&gt;</description>
