Martin Aucoin was born iin 1610 in LaRochelle, France. He married Marie Denys Salle, daughter of Jean Denys Salle and Francoise Arnaud. Martin Aucoin was a carpenter. Martin and Marie had two children, Martin and Jean.
Martin Aucoin was born in 1648 in Cougnes, La Rochelle, France. Martin left France for Acadia. He married Marie Gaudet, daughter of Denis Gaudet and Martine Gauther in 1672 in Acadia. They had 17 children: Martin, Michel, Alexis, Rene, Antoine, Jean, Pierre, Charles, Cecile, Augustin, Francoise, Anne Marie, Isabelle, Agnes, Marie, Catherine and Louise. Martin was a farmer/carpenter. The family lived in Beaubassin in 1684 and at Riviere au Canard in Grand Pre in 1714. Martin died of a heart attack coming home from church on May 9, 1711 in Nova Scotia.

Paul Aucoin was born on April 15, 1712 in Acadia. He married Marie Joseph LeBlanc, daughter of Jacques LeBlanc and Elizabeth Boudrot on November 18, 1737, in St. Charles des Mines. They had six children: Jean-Charles, Oliver, Pierre, Joseph, Marie and Mathurine. Paul was a farmer.
Theodore Aucoin (dit Wedge) was born on July 16, 1876 to Sylvain and Zoi Bernard in Tignish, P.E.I.. His father, Sylvain, was a farmer.
Mary Ann Gaudet was born on July 4, 1879 to Proper J. Gaudet and Mary Arseneaux in Tignish, P.E.I. Her father, Prosper was a farmer.
They were my grandparents. They married and moved to Rogersville N.B. and then to Bathurst, N.B. They had ten children: Emily, Maggie, Josephine, Henry, Yvonne, Ben, Amable (Amos), Clara, Florence and Edward which was my father.
Ben passed away as a child. Marry Ann Gaudet passed away in 1920. After her death, Theodore married Brigitte Grant. Brigitte passed away in 1943.
