my wife's Auber/Aube ancestors
Right, so none of the Auber/Aube clan have gotten on the web to trace their roots, it seems. Well then, here is a line that merits fleshing out. Jaques Auber (1590) of Caen, Normandie, married Marie LeBoucher in Troarn, Normandie, in 1610. Their son Claude Aube (1615) married Jaqueline Lucas in Ste-Croix, Normandie, in 1640. They arrived in Quebec City, New France, 6/25/1647. Their son Felix Auber (1643) married Francoise Thibault in Quebec 4/15/1670 and they lived in Chateau Richer. Theri Son Charles Auber (1685) married Marie Anne Gariepy 2/2/1710 of Chateau Richer. Theri son Jean Charles Auber was born in St Francois de Sales in 1716 and married Genevieve Daze 7/14/1738, after which they lived near Lac St. Jean in northern Quebec. Their son Ignace Auber (1740) married Marguerite Filiatreau in St. Francois de Sales 1/31/1774. Their son Ignace Auber (1777) married Veronique Maille at St. Therese de Bleinville 10/10/1803 and lived 15 miles NW of Montreal. Their son Leandre (1806)spelled his surname Aube and married Euphrosine Godard at St. therese de Bleinville 7/30/1832. Theri son Theophile Aube (1843) married Marie Louise Racine (d. 1903)in St. Andrew's, eastern Ontario 4/9/1866. their son Joseph Damien Aube (1/6/1878) married Corrine Charlebois (d. 3/1/1953)on 10/28/1902 and lived in Crysler and casselman, Ontario. They moved to Charlotte, vermont, 1917-1918). Their daughter, reina Aube (7/20/1926 -) married Leo LaBerge 10/24/1945 and lived in Charlotte and Burlington, VT. Their daughter, Vivian Marie LaBerge (7/7/1963), married me (Tim Abbott) in Salisbury, VT 9/23/1995 and now lives in Great Barrington, MA. Anyone care to expand on this line?

Hello thought that I might let you in on some family info that I know. My great-grandpa was Alderic James Aube of Ossineke MI he married Anna Aube who recently died in October 1, 1999. They had 13 children, 64 grandchildren, 145 great-grandchildren and 94 great-great-grandchildren. I believe this numbers are very close. My Grandfather is James Alderic Aube from Ossineke Mi were he ran the Aube farm for many years. My father is Richard James Aube. I believe that my great-grandpa came from Moose Creek Ontario. There is a family story that he crossed the great lakes when they were frozen and eventually settled in ossineke Mi. I don't know if any of this info is inportant to you but I am starting to search the family tree and ran across your message

Greetings, I just happened upon your message and am glad to see that others are interested in the Aube family. I just returned from a trip to Moose Creek, Ontario where I visited with two Aube's and saw the farms where Theophile, Eusebe and Alfred worked and raised their families. I am interested in sharing information. You can e-mail me at raread@mail2.ncn.com
