I am from the same line. My family is Leandres aubes's son Eusebe who marries Martine Lalonde at St Andrews W. Ontario in 1859 and went from there down to my dad Albert. This line now mostly lives in Sault Ste. Marie, MI if yo want more just ask. I have it.

Since you started this back in 2000 I'm not even sure you are following this anymore. I stumbled upon this board looking for history of Charlotte, VT. Your wife's mother Reina is my great Aunt. Her brother Roland was my grandfather who married Blanche Benoit and they had 6 children; one of whom was my mother Lorraine. I am her oldest daughter born just about a year before( 8/19/62) your wife Vivian who I gather is my 2nd cousin though we have never met. We moved to California in 1977 and I just revisited Vermont last year for the 1st time. Your genealogy work is incredible and now I know that we originated in Normandie, France.

Just came upon your message.

Am always interested in following up on the family tree. I too am a descendant of Aube's who came from the Moose Creek area in Canada, Ontario. My Great Grandfather Joseph Henri Aube (m. to Artemise Benoit) had brothers who went off to Vermont and to Michigan in the early 1900's. Since I live about 100 miles from the the US border, I am quite intrigued by relatives who live near Sault Ste Marie MI or in Alpena.

We have a book detailing our line from the first Clauder Auber (t) who came to Chateau Richer, Quebec in 1647 from Troarn, a Village in Normandy, France.

Serge Aube from Quebec has posted most of this info on the web. I no longer have his address.

Regards
