George H. Atfield. . There are some George Atfields listed in Sussex, the next county. Depending on their parents and the age of George there are George aged 18, born in Pulborough ( where most of my relatives come from), a carter on a farm, George Atfield aged 3 months from Surrey, West Clandon, George aged 9 from Egham Surrey and George Atfield 67, from Compton, a carter on a farm. I have traced my line from Philip Adfield(Atfield) and Susan who married in 1821,through Charles, Charles, Friend, James, Bruce (my dad) to me.
