Hi everyone, My husband's family has a Henry Page from Cambridge in England (born c1818) who we always thought had a mother named Hannah Affack. I looked at the 1851 census and found she was born at Beford in Bedfordshire. Then I found her marriage record to Joseph Page and she is actually Hannah Atack, born to John and Elizabeth Atack in 1788 in Bedford. It is a name I have never heard of before. Anyone have any Atacks around Bedfordshire or Cambridgeshire? Thanks, Toni

Toni. I don't know if this will be of any help to you. I have a Hannah Atack Munyon born Oct. 29,1883. She had a sister Elizabeth Atack born Nov. 27,1888. There were other siblings. Their parents were George W. Atack born June 2,1852 & Georgianna Coale born July 15,1862. Sincerely, Bev

Hi Shel Yes I am still doing the family but I need to check where I am up to. I think I found Hannah's brothers but not sure about mother and father. I am travelling with my husband and kids at the moment but will have some more time to see what I have after 9th Jan. What do you know about them? Toni

Hi Toni, Henry Page is my g.g.g. grandfather and I found the marriage of his parents and it says Joseph Page and Hannah Attack but when you look at Henry's and his brother William's death certs. it says Affack, I wonder if they didnt pronounce it properly when filling out these details. I am trying to trace the family of William at the moment....he died in Tamworth in 1879 and he was a plasterer. I found he had a daughter, Elenor, back in England as she shows up on the 1851 Census and I think he arrived in Australia in 1854. Do you have any details on William? Kind regards Chris
