My father was from Capri and I still have uncles, aunts and of course many cousins there. My father was one of 11 brothers and sisters. He came to England in the 50's after marrying my mother who was was English.
After the war he became one of the 2 policeman on the Island and I guess therefore was quite well known. I have family in both Capri and AnnaCapri. family legand has it that one line of the family owned a bank in AnnaCapri which went bust. My fathers family were I belive quite poor my grandfather making a living as a master tiler. 2 of my uncles followed in his footsteps.
