Weert Asche was born October 1914. He was killed in an auto accident after 1939 and before 1942 in South Dakota. He was married to Leona Rasmussen in 1935.

Weert Asche was my grandfather. He & Leona Asche (nee Rasmussen) had 3 children: Martha Asche, John Asche & Norma Ann Asche (my mother). Weert was killed in 1940, not long before Norma was born. I am not sure of the exact date of death.

Leona remarried; her second husband was Glen Sheets, who died in 1985. Leona died 12/1/2008 at the age of 91.

My mother, Norma, was born 9/28/1940; on 6/3/1958, she married my father, Ross Cecil Craft (born 2/23/1938, nickname "Butch"). Ross died of a heart attack on 7/23/1994.

Norma & Ross have 4 children: Ralph Allen Craft (b. 2/11/1959), Deborah Lynn Craft-Marks (b. 4/17/1960), Ronald Joseph Craft (b. 1/9/1962), Rosalie Ann Craft-Andersen (b. 11/25/1963).
