George, I found a George Asche from Huchinson Co. S.D. born 4-2-1896, son of Fred and Elizabeth(Mudder) Asche, Fred or Frederike was my grandfather Weert Asche's brother,they were born in Germany. They came to Illinois, Weert later moved to Iowa and Fred to South Dakota and in later years back to Illinois. rlhlucy@aol.com
