Am seeking the parents of a Thomas Arthur born 6 Feb 1825 in New London, CT. By 1849 he was in Ashtabula, Ohio and by 1854 in Rice Co, Minnesota where he lived until his death. A Rice Co history book indicated Thomas was living on his own since the age of 12. I have found plenty of information after he left Connecticut, but never any indication of his parents.

I have found a James L. Arthur in the 1830 New London census that has a son about the right age to be Thomas. I have also found a Thos L Arthur in the 1820 census in New London. Does anyone know if either of these two are connected to my Thomas Arthur.
