Looking for clues on Alexander Arnett b.ca. 1700 (I believe Scotland) listed in "American Weekly Mercury" in 1723 as a "scotch servant, cooper by trade" he was a runnaway servant from Thomas Hynson and Dan Pearce of Kent County, Maryland. Alex shows up in VA married to Ruth __? in Loudon County, VA. Alex died in 1769.
