I am looking for Darseno Archambo(Any spelling)He lived in MA around mid 1800 he is Mohawk.

One Adolphe Darceno Archambault, married to Esther Plantier, was my third great-grandfather. The information I have is that he was born in St.-Pie, Quebec, about 1849 and died in North Adams, Berkshire County, Massachusetts on July 6, 1929; having married Esther Plantier May 31, 1868, at StJohnhn the Baptist Church, Keeseville, Clinton County, New York. On both his marriage and death record, his father is listed as one Jean-Baptiste Archambault; but his mother is listed as Laysea Hebert on one and Marie Labelle on the other. I have no information on either his mother or father.

wow. i am looking for a Darcus Archambo or Shambo or Archambault. he married Esther Plankey (or Plantier) of NY. they are the parents of my GG granmother who i am named after. i want to find out their heritage, i want to find out where my name comes from......

I know very little about my own Archambault line but do know they were French-Canadian & came from the Quebec area.

I have and Ulderic Archambault married to Mathilde Beauchemin on 18 Oct. 1870, at St. Pierre de Sorel (Sorel)(1866-1966) PONTBRIAN # 44.
The parents of Ulderic is Jean Baptiste Archambault and
Lucie POIRIER. Perry and POIRIER are often interchanged.
Lucie POIRIER died prior to 1862 at age 55 as Jean Baptiste
married Julie (Forcier) Beauchemin on 22 Sept 1862.
You may wish to work the Eglise Ste. Pierre de Sorel or any churches in the Berthier (across the river)area.

actaully i'm not looking for perry or porrier at all.... i responded where there was a DARCUS ARCHAMBAULT. i'm trying to find out about my GG GrM's parents who were darcus archambault or shambo and esther plankey here name is MALENIA who i am named after, and i wnat to find out where my name came from. what heritage/nationality.... is it indian? or french?
