I have to check into this but my grandmother came from the same place. I think she had 24/25 sibblings because her father was married severial times.(widowed)She was about 8yrs. old when she came to the U.S. (NY) Her and her family lived in NY then moved to Windber,Pa befor moving to Johnstown, pa. Today there are many living in N.Y. and New Kensington, Pa. Believe it or not I had met one of my grandmother's sisters. (couple years ago) My grandmother was the oldest child and I met the youngest.

Please check into it. It was a small place and it would be much easier to get records from a small place. Thank you so much for responding and I will be in touch! E Tommy's wife

I have a Teresa Arabia in my family. She was from Palermo, came to America around 1909 and settled in Bayonne, NJ. She married Salvatore Militello. I believe she had a couple brothers that stayed inn Italy. Possibly Michael and Dominick.
