Michele,
My wife's line is spelled AQUALINO, from Bari Italy. I am not having very much luck. I found Michael Aqualinos wife on the Ellis Island site but I can not find him. Can you give me some tips and have you seen this spelling before. I believe that it got changed to AQUELINO when he came to the United States.
Thank You,
Jim

The posts are old but the reference to a Pasquale Aquilino and Assunta Aquilino were too close to home. Those are the names of my grandparents. They came from Troia very near Foggia. Relatives in Troia include Saracinos. Quite a few relatives in Philly on my father's side.

Hi John,
My great grandfather was Pasquale Aquilino who immigrated to Philadelphia from Troia, Foggia, Italy. He and his cousin Assunta Aquilino had a double wedding, and married two D'Imperio siblings. Are you related to this line?
cheers,
Sherry in Philly
