My Grandmother was Amy Ankers and she was born in or around Huxley in Cheshire in either 1898 or 1900 she never knew which as her mother had that many she couldnt remember. she had at least 14 brothers and sisters, I cannot remember the names of all of them but will list what I know they are:
Herbert
Annie
Wilfred
Fred
Bill
Oswald
Ellis
Millie
Amy
Sally
Also 2 died in infancy of tuberculosis these were clara and sara. My husband has also been researching ankers, but mainly the four brothers who went off to fight in the first world war two of which were killed. As far as i know sally is still alive though is approaching 100 years old, she still has all her wits about her though was unwilling to talk to us as did'nt want to discuss the war.
My grandmothers mother was called sarah and her maiden name was green and my grandfather was arthur

Hope this helps

Cheryl
