Hello.....My mother-in-law who is still living...married Benjamin Franklin Amos...the son of John Claudis Amos and his second wife...Lucy Parmer. Lucy passed away a few years back in California.
My mother-in-laws name at the time was Ione Marie Heisler from Cleveland, Ohio. She divorced Ben after producing 2 children......John and Sharon. They were both adopted by Ione's second husband, Frank Martin and took his name. John is living in Alabama and Sharon in Madison, Ohio. The story is that whenever Ben came back to town, Frank would have his Irish police buddies chase him out.
Sharon and John did meet Ben on several occasions, but my history with the family is only three years old...so I am not the one to speak to.
