Yesterday after finding daughter Sally Amsbury, 3rd wife of the Deacon William West and 2nd wife of Daniel Hare I am very happy to say I have found the Maiden Name of Jeremiah's wife. I have searched since 1985 and Allen was not a name I had researched.

Sally Allen is the name of Jeremiah 4's wife and the mother of the Amsbury's of Rockport and Rockland Maine. It is stated clearly on her daughter Hannah's Death record in Boston. Hannah C. Amsbury Wooster left Maine where she had lived for so long and went to Boston where she died on 23 November 1891.
For those of you posting the two portraits I put online of Oliver Amsbury please make sure you are posting them to the right generation Oliver born 1815, son of Oliver Amsbury and Margaret Wooster. Thank you.
