Hello. I am researching my grandmother, Daisy June Sheets -

Her Mother was: Sara Ann Ames b. 22 Feb 1876.

I posted back in July, 2008 asking if anyone could assist me in tracing down my grandmother's last name at the time of her death in '44. I appreciate the info/clues already submitted (below). However, I am still at a standstill with clearing up this mystery.

Daisy June's last known married name was "Neff," whom she married twice - she was married at least 4 times in her short lifetime (34 yrs old). It is suspected that she died in 1944; however, we have no actual document to prove this info. She was born 29 Oct 1910. All relatives that could have provided info has since deceased. I had hope that descendants on either the Charles Franklin Sheets or Sara(h) Ann (Caroline) Ames would have heard stories about of "where" Daisy June died or could provide some information.

I have tried all the info provided thus far and have continued many searches to no avail - it has been so frustrating since I am writing a memoir. Has anyone had this problem as well: trying to find the last name of a relative? If so, were you able to find out their name? And if you did, how did you do it?

Daisy June's diary provides much info, but she did not mention her last name at the time of her last entries or her whereabouts.

Hello. I've been searching for my grandmother, Daisy June (Sheets) Neff obituary/death place. It appears from her diary that Neff was her last married name. She died in 1944 of an appendicitis, possibly in AR, MO, CA, etc. Her death place or burial is unknown to relatives. I would appreciate any "leads" you might have concerning her death.
