Surnames: Foster, Phillips, Creelman, Dart, Norris, Moore, Nelson, Woodworth, Carter, Brenton, Johnson
Micheal's wife Eliza and my Great Great Grandmother Jane Creeelman, who married William Phillips, were sisters.
William and Jane's daughter, Ellen, married Henry Foster. They are my Great Grandparents. They lived about a mile
from from the Ambrose home.

I will look for info on Micheal. I believe he was born in Stewiacke, not Princeport. Stewiacke is further up the Shubenacadie River. If I remember correctly he was a carpenter by trade. I think he had a brother George who lived in Stewiacke. Eliza and her two sons moved to California. One son Thomas was a “Locomotive Engineer” in Oakland. How's that so far? I'm very interested in what happened to the Ambrose family! I have some info on the sons' marriages and some details on land transactions in Princeport. I would love to know everything about the California Ambrose story. Do you have photos of Eliza or the sons, etc. I could compare them to my families photo collection. We have lots of photos that we can't identify. The Ambrose clan is likely there! Apparently the Ambrose family, or a member, was very artistic. The old house was said to have drawings on the walls including swords and a lion. Do you know anything about this? Any photos of this house or Princeport that date to when they live there? Look forward to a reply, David
