Hello!

I, too, have a Christian Amacher and Anna Rueff in my line - they would be my G-G Grandparents. Their daughter, Lena (short for Magdalena?) is my maternal G-Grandmother. She was married to David Darius Thomas, son of Walter Thomas, of Wales. During the latter part of their lives, they lived in the Barneveld/Ridgeway, Wisconsin area.

If you think we have a connection, I have Lena's siblings names, along with some other small bits of family extending back.

Hi there! I don't know exactly what our relationship is, but we're definitely related. The 'Lena' you have listed is my maternal G-Grandmother, and you have the siblings names exactly as they were handed down to me by my Grandmother! This is just wonderful! Would love to correspond more and widen my knowledge of this part of my family, and I could do the same for you. Interested?

Good morning My mother was a sister to your grandfather Adolph, I remember him well, your grandmother was Amalia and would visit her often in the forties. Is your father Aaron, or is your mother, Winnifred or Leah? I have several pictures of your grandfather, adolph and my mother Margareth and my Aunt Bertha, their sister. Have you checked out the 1920-1930 census. They list two children in 1920,Enoch and Earl, they are not listed in 1930. I knew about Enoch, but not Earl. I believe there is a head stone in the Logan city cemetery for Enoch, along with aunt Amalia and Uncle Adolph. Norma M R

Please contact me. I think my maiden name may have been changed from Amacher to Aumaugher many years ago. I have done a lot of research on the Aumaugher family.

I have been doing much research on my family (Kienholz) and I have not come to the last name in reference. The Johannes Kienholz that you are refering to was married to a Caroline Lenz Mannweiler. I am very confused about this whole thing

Hi Kenneth,

My great great grandmother was Anna Brog from Willigen, Bern, Switzerland. My grandfather went back in 1951 with his mother to visit cousins there but I have no clue about any relatives now. All I have are the films that they took with the cousins and a few letters.

I can provide you with any information that I have.

Sincerely,
Timothy Campbell
