For anyone researching the Altieri/Palumbo connection:
A Filomena Altieri (B:1843 in Pietravairano, Caserta, Italy), daughter of Tommaso Altieri and Isabella Baldassare (or Baldessaro) and grandaughter of Francesco Altieri and Maria D'Angelis (likely De Angelis), on 20 April 1865,in Pietravairano, married Antonio Palumbo (B:1841), son of Pasquale Palumbo (B:1812)and Isabella Scorpio (B:1817). Filomena and Antonio had a son named Carlo, Carmine, Enrico Palumbo (B:1873). Another son was Congetto Palumbo(B:1874). Carlo Carmine Enrico Palumbo initially married a Luisa, Carolina Battista Caiazza (my grand Aunt)on/about 21 June 1900 in Pietravairano. He likely remarried a second time in Providence, R.I. Places of historical Residences and References are Providence, R.I., Pietravairano, Riardo, Marigliano (Luisa was born there) with other relatives possibly in Connecticut, Massachussetts and Pennsylvania.
