Am seeking information, particularly parents, of Sarah Ann Allgood born about 1821 in Indiana. She married Thomas Greathouse in the mid-1840s somewhere in Indiana, had two children in Indiana, and by approx 1852 was in Webster Co/Wright Co area of Missouri, where they lived the remainder of their lives. She died sometime after 1880.

Thomas lived in Vigo and Washington Counties in Indiana, per the 1840 and 1830 censues, but I haven't been able to locate a marriage for them in any county.

I have seen another person's research that indicates Sarah Ann is the daughter of Peter Allgood (b 1791 in Virginia) and a Mary (Polly) Brown. Can anyone prove or disprove this? What is the source for that information? In the 1880 census she said her parents were both born in North Carolina.
