ALLENSTEN or ALLENSTEIN, Ferdinand and August

I'm seeking ancestors and descendants of Ferdinand and August Allenstein who emigrated to the US in the lat 1800's, possibly 1882. Ferdinand settled in Chicago, Illinois and his brother August settled in Strawberry Point, Iowa.

Ferdinand either changed the name to Allensten around 1920, or it was misspelt on the earlier censuses.

For further information regarding this line, please see our site at http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~ourroots
