I never thought I would hear from my grandparents side of the family. I have looked so long. I am Shirley McCoy. My grandparents were Elise and Torkel Gottschalck. Yes I knew where she came from but I could not find anything more. They had four children: Carl, Minnie, Victor, and Nancy. They are all dead now. Minnie had 2 boys in Colorado. Victor had no children and neither did Nancy. She was a stepmother to two boys in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Carl had 3 girls and 1 boy. Bonnie, Shirley, Carl, and Judy. I am Shirley. I have 4 children and 10 grandchildren. I live in Olathe Kansas with my husband. The only relations I knew my grandmother had was one listed in her obituary, was H Neilsen. As a young girl I wrote to someone named Sonja, whom my grandmother gave me the name of. Please let me know any more information you care to give me. It's wonderful to hear from you. Thank You Shirley McCoy

I am from Denmark and Elise Allengren is my grandmother's sister.
According to my late grandmother she went to Omaha, Nebraska, but at Ellis Island they said, that she was going to Weston.
I know that it is the same Elise, that we are talking about, because we have the same information concerning the ship(Oscar II) and arrivaldate (March 22, 1913).
I know that Elise had a daughter called Minnie Bowers from Broomfield, Colorado. Minnie then had two children called Shirley and Karl.

Hope to hear from anyone who knows more.

I found Elsie Allengreen. The name is spelled different. If there is any knowledge of her with the new spelling, I would appreciate the help. She arrived in America on the Oscar II on March 22, 1913 and from there went to (Wilton) Iowa as far as the ship records show. Thanks
