Hi, I realize it's been over 5 years since this post. My husband's grandfather is Henry Allendorf from Marburg,in Hesse-Darmstadt. I'm not sure if this is your Henry (I believe there was another Henry Allendorf who settled in Cincinnati about 50-75 years prior to our Henry), but I'd be happy to share what I have with you. Our earliest documented Allendorf was Johann Heinrich Allendorf, born 1791.

Gilbert Harper Allendorf married Ione (I think her middle name was Harriet) Bushen, and they did have a son Carl Harper Allendorf. I was once married to him and know most of the family info.

Yes I am interested in your information on Harper Allendorf.What connection do you have with him? For me he is supposed to have mar a Joan Harriet Bushen. She is a cousin of my mothers. I believe they had a son Carl?

Have you found any information on Henry Allendorf? I noticed that he settled in Ohio, and that is where my line of Allendorf's is from. I am at a dead end on my search, anything would help.

Looking for information on my grandfather, Walter Allendorf. His daughter, Charlotte, was my mother. She died in 1969. I do not know my grandmother's name or anything about her. My mother Charlotte married Charles Hunter in 1947. At the time of my parent's marriage, they were living in Rhode Island. Walter Allendorf moved from Rhode Island to Coronado, California. He died approximately ten years ago. I know my mother had at least one brother and one sister, but know nothing of them.

I'm in need of help finding information on Harper Allendorf who married Joan Harriet Bushen, she b. Oct. 23, 1916West Dublin Nova Scotia, Canada.
That I am aware there was one child, Carl Allendorf and he is married to Catherine ???. They have one daughter, Amie. Any help or suggestions
