I have traced my ancestors back to James Allenby born approx 1800 -His first marriage produced one son William born about 1821 in KNARESBOROUGH -James was a widower , remarried in Darlington and eventually went to live in the Barnsley where the spellingchanged to ALLEMBY

However I think some of James siblings lived in Boroughbridge -I thinkhe had a brother called George who had a wife called Jane who also had a son called William -anyone any connection to this family
