I am the great-great granddaughter of Zera Allen. My great-grandfather is his youngest son with second wife Emmaline Loftis, Josephus Allen. I was happy to discover today the names of Zera's siblings, Solomon and Susan and that they all married Price siblings. I am troubled by finding Zera's father. Through other member trees, it seems likely that his father is Young Allen b 1750 in Wake Co, NC and his mother is Nancy Dawson, but those trees show a first wife for Young and only mention Solomon as a child with Nancy Dawson. Can you please help me?? If I can confirm this parentage, it would mean a lot to my family.
By the way, if Young is also the father of Zera and Susan as well as Solomon via Nancy, then they have a lot of half siblings through Zera's first marriage to a Phebe, which is verifiable through a will that's been posted on these other trees..
