From my searches on the internet, I found that Little Ardo was the 18th century home of John R. Allan. My great grandparents, William and Margaret (Robb) Ironside, and their oldest daughter, Margaret were residing at Smithy Ardo according to the 1901 Census. My great aunt, Jean, was born at Ardo in 1901 and my grandfather, John, was born at Little Ardo in 1904. Any Allan's from this line?
