I am descended from Henry Algert (1781-1842) and his first wife Maria (Keller) Algert. According to baptism records I could find, they had 5 children before Maria died in 1825:
these were-- Joseph (3/6/1808-6/17/1877), Philip (1/14/1810-11/8/1891), John (3/3/1812-1/25/1856) and Catharine (4/10/1820-3/30/1853); the latter was my great-great grandmother. I am looking for 'verifiable' records as to Maria's birth (proof of parentage) and Maria's marriage to Henry Algert (proof of lineage). If anyone knows of the existence of such records, please let me know! Thanks!
