She and I had a strange experience in Honolulu. We both worked in the same building on Merchant Street. She was employed by Bank of Hawaii on the first floor; I worked for a title company on the 17th floor. I went down to cash my check, paying no attention to the teller I was slowly approaching. I noticed a sudden silence fall over the lobby, and realized everyone was staring at me... and when I slid my check over for cashing I raised my eyes to see my double looking back at me. She was just as dark as I am light - hair, eyes, skin, and we had identical features. We were both very young, 20ish, (cute) and shocked. And we never spoke! I've regretted it ever since. I wonder if she might be researching Alcorns..can we re-connect and ask those questions from almost a half century ago...Funny how life wraps around and around.
