I had forgotten that I posted here.
Pam, It's easy to get lost in all of the associated threads here.
My grandfather was Edward Akar, brother to Louis. Ernest and Albert in Wallington are my fathers cousins. Ernest was married to Jean and had a son called Sonny. I grew up very close to them but lost track of Sonny after our early teen years. Ernest and Jean both passed on.
I am very familiar with the Garfield / Wallington Akar family being as I am one of them..

I followed a thread or two and I can now make a guess that you are one of Albert's daughters. Didn't he have a few daughters? If I'm right, we've met but long ago.
I think Albert and his uncle Ed got along fairly well but didn't see each other too often.
Its a fine line between genealogy and gossip when discussing those still living isn't it?

Are you Lester? I recall hearing that name but still am not sure if we have met. Yes, I am the youngest Akar of that generation. I am Pam and I have 2 older sisters Donna & Debbi. Dad got along quite well with his uncle Ed. I recall going to his house I believe in Garfield. He used to hide change around the house and let me hunt for it. I was probably about 6 or 7.
