Yea Marilyn, it's me your cousin Butch (Eva (Rodrigues)Allen) daughter. I'm living on Oahu, across the street from the LDS Temple in Laie. I' ve been searching for my family on our mothers side for the longest, maybe you can help. I'll give you what I have so far on our grandmother Huleka Paalai. I have three1900 census on her and Akana. 1st is E.D.102 Sh 27, Shows Akana, Huleka, Akiona and Kamalii. But there is a big speckle of ink coving Akanas first name. The 2nd is E.D.102 Sh27 Vol.8 Line7 This shows Akana 1850,birthplace China. Living in Wailuku, Maui with wife Huleka 1860, Akiona 1891 and Kamalii 1894. And there is another Census I found 1900 E.D.88 Sh 25B. This shows Ho Akana 1846 married to Huleka birth year 1864 and are living in Molokai and they have three daughters? And there is a 1910 E.D.81 Sh9B with our uncle Solomon Nikolau as head of household, Huleka Akana (wd) and son Kamalii Akana 15 single. I hope this will help a little. Take Care Cous; I'll look for your number and call. Much Aloha Butch

Does Mrs. Lang Akana fit into your tree somewhere?
Charles Albert Stewart, a resident in the Islands since 1875, died at his home in this city, Pauoa Valley, on Sunday evening. The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon from the undertaking parlors of M.E. Silva, the interment to be in Nuuanu Cemetery. The deceased was a native of Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada and was sixty-four years old. For many years he was connected with the Kahului Railroad Company in Maui and with the Kohala Plantation Company, Hawaii. He is survived by his widow, a son Harry K. Stewart, of Ripley & Davis, and seven daughters, Mrs. William J. Markham, teacher at the Kainlani School; Mrs. K. Simonson, Mrs. Lang Akana, Mrs. Thomas D. Cockett, teacher at the Waipaliu School; Miss Jennie K. Stewart, teacher at the Kapaa School, Kauai, and the Misses Bessie and Mary Stewart at the Territorial Normal School."

Charles Albert Stewart, d. June 10, 1917, is in my family tree.
