My name is Jennifer, I am the great great grandaughter of Mew Lang Akana, daughter of C.T. Akana and Kapeka kauka. Although together C.T. Akana and Kapeka Kauka had other children beside my great great grandmother. I am hoping with posting this new message that it will bring forth anyone who has any relation or information. I am greatly interested in learning my roots of the Akana Line. Attached is a picture of Mew Lang Akana my great great grandmother. Again should there be anyone searching the same line as me, please contact me. I am wanting to know my roots.

Hi Jennifer, I have been trying to find other information on my grandfather, John Akana Lum, who was one of the son's of Mew Lang Akana. Re: Searching surname Akana
Hi Jennifer, I ran into your same post on genealogy.com, but I'm just reposting my reply here. CT Akana and Kapeka Kauka were my great great grandparents. My side of the family came from their son Patrick L Akana. His son, my grandfather, was Donald C Akana, and he and my grandmother had three children: Michael, Randall (my father), and Paula (yes, Paula Akana from KITV). Hope this info helps if you haven't discovered it already. :)
