Good grief! I just took a look at the auction and the bids are already up to $31 and still more than a week to go! You should keep an eye on this auction and whoever wins it. Perhaps you can then contact the winner and see if that person will peruse the letters for you and give you some info that will help you to determine whether or not the family is yours. Some people will take the time to do that. Can't hurt to ask.
