Ronnie,

Don Kincaid and I have researched Agnew's together for several years. I highly recommend you do either the Y-37 or Y-67 marker DNA test with familytreedna.com. LC Agnew is a descendant of James Agnew m. Rebecca Scott who lived in Marsh Creek. The only way to prove 100% you descend from this line of Agnew's is to do the DNA test with familytreedna. In the past we've had two Agnew's who we thought descended from James Agnew b. 1711 in Ireland but DNA proved otherwise.

I've looked at your lineage, even imputed them into Family Tree Maker, but I can go back as far as Andrew Agnew m. Mary Lavena Latta on 19 Aug 1845 in Vineyard Twp., Washington Co., Arkansas. Proving Andrew is the son of Samuel Agnew b. 1821 d. 1876 in Fannin County, Texas I haven't found the marriage record for his parents but more than likely Samuel Agnew is the father of your Andrew Agnew. Do you have proof of the marriage of Samuel Agnew & ???

You can contact me at nlpeche@aol.com
