Samuel Rioness Agar, born in Sheffield, England 1875
My maternal gf was Samuel Rioness Agar, born in Sheffield, England 1875. His family was from Eastern,Europe. Family legend is that his ancestors emigrated to Great Britain after the 1790 Pogrom. Some went to Ireland, while others went to Sheffield. My branch remained in the Jewish faith, the others converted. Does this sound familiar/comfortable to anyone out there?
In addition, I recently noticed the name"Brian Agar," in the "crawl," of the movie Chocolat. Can anyone respond to this???

My name is Kristinna Klaw I am 22 years old. I do not know much of my family history except my father, Jeff Klaw lived with his parents Natalie and Irving Klaw in Brighton Beach N.Y. My family on my father's side is all Jewish decent and I think more ancestors are from Russia. I would really like to know more about my ancestors and if anyone has any suggestions on how to go about this task please e-mail me. Or if any of this sound familiar of your family please contact me as well.
