I remember Grandma Agans (Florence Edna King) talking about Ora, but that's about all that I remember. I was very young at the time. There are several names that I remember, but most I have not been able to find, so far. I work 2 jobs and have grandkids, so my time is limited. But I am still working on it. My mother put together some information that she could remember several years ago, so I will search through that as well. I also have some conflicting information. Ora Gail vs. Lora Vail, etc. I'm sure that some was probably just mis typed information that others have entered. I have searched sever sites from Ireland and I have never been able to find O'shagans. But I think that the original name at some point may have been O'Hagan(s) or Hagan(s). I have been able to locate that name in several places. And Thomas Chester Agans (great-great grandfather) came from County Tyrone, I have searched parishes in County Tyrone and have not found O'Shagans, but there may be smaller areas within the parishes? I'm not sure.
if you have any information gathered, I would love to see what you have and share what I have found.
