Hi,
So sorry but the Agacki's I'm researching were in Wisconsin. I have no information about the family in either Ohio or Indiana.

Happy Hunting

Hello,
Its a bit confusing as to whose Josef is related where but this is what I have.
Benjamin Agacki was b. July 22, 1886 in Warsaw or ToRun, Poland. Parents - Josef Agacki and Mary Pszybysz.
All 3 imigrated to USA in about 1901. Settled in Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio.
Also found Naturalization petition for another Josef Agacki in Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio. He was born on February 3, 1873 in Russia and arrived in the USA on September 1, 1895. This could be Ben's oldest/older brother.
Sincerely Theresa

Hi Karyn, Immigration fro Josef Agacki, wife Mary Pszybysz and son Benjamin Agacki.
Petition for Citizenship #18209 Court of Common Pleas, Cuyahoga County, Ohio.
Date:1 Sep 1895
Naturalized: 5 Nov 1900
Arrived at Ellis Island aboard the Augusta Victoria 31 Aug 1895 out of the Port of Hamburg, Germany.
Lived at 240 3rd Ave., Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio.

Then one that confused me: Jozef Agacki:
Naturalization: 26 Oct 1904, Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio.

Benjamin Agacki: Passport dated 1 Feb 1891, Immigration to the USA.
Benjamin Agacki was in partnership with Alexander Dugger, House Painting @100222 Parkview Ave., Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio.

have info on Benjamins marriages and children if you need it.
Hope this helps.

I have your immigration record for your Josef as the same as my Josef (Ben's brother).
In 1900 census, my Josef is living at same address that you have listed below with a Johns family (whom are related to my Josef's future bride).
When did Mary immigrate? I do not find her with your Josef who immigrated in 1895.
I'm so confused now. I thought this was MY Josef? Ages match, address with census match.
Do you have Josef, Mary & Ben in 1900 census?

Josef, Mary and Benjamin came over all together. I have a copy of Benjamins social security application dated Nov. 7, 1936. He states he's living at 11800 Belmont Ave., Cleveland, Ohio. Father-Josef Agacki. Mother Mary Pszybysz.
I see the problem the Petition I have must be for Benjamins older brother Josef. The naturalization date of Nov. 5, 1900 goes with the Josef that arrived in America on Sept. 1,1895 and was born Feb.7,1873.
BEN WAS BORN IN 1886 THIS JOSEF WAS BORN IN 1873. 13 year difference...we need a Josef older than that to be thier father don't you think?.
I also have a Naturalization for a Josef Agacki dated Oct. 26, 1904, Cleveland, Ohio in my family tree program but I can't find the document in my file. I will do more checking although sorry to say I'll be away for a few weeks. If you find anything send it along and I'll do the same.
Sorry for the confusion!
PS. who is the John you referred to? and who is your Josef's future bride?
